About
First there were Shannon and Chris. Then there was Mystery Dogg. Then there was a little bump we called Baba Ganouj. Now Winnie is here and we’re all so glad.
This is our story, for our friends and family. If you click on the title of an article, you can read the whole story and leave us a comment or two. Most of the photos are from our Flickr account, so you can click on them to view larger versions.
Baby’s First Wax
I know she’s a quarter Armenian, but this is ridiculous.
Who It Is?!
Whatever’s out there, Win is pretty sure this blue plastic door and the couch cushions will keep her safe and sound.
Fort Win
Turns out Daddy makes a damn fine fort.
Baby Bump
Win said, “Daddy, put bankie in there.” And so, he did.
Win for Life
Chris lets Winnie in on the joys of scratch cards. Hopefully she’ll be our new lucky charm. Come on, baby - Mama needs a new pair of boots! For real! I do! My old ones are ripping apart!
Missing Baby
Anyone seen wee Win?
She’s Playing My Song
Win struggles with the g-chord. Keep practicing, honey. You’ll get it.
Baby Bear
Win is learning how to “take care” of her friends. They often need protecting, changing, hugging, walking, and, of course, reading.
A Brooklyn Christmas
Win sort of likes her new sweater (it has two of her favorite things - a hood and a puppy!).
The Budding Artiste
Remember when putting on a smock meant putting dad’s old shirt on backwards? Win takes her super snazzy new smock from Nanny and Pop on a test drive.
Ready to Brave the Elements
“Win, look - you have a new coat to keep you warm.” “I love it.”
Hello, Sunshine
A little bit of brightness on a cold winter day.
Bear Feet
Winnie the Christmas Brute checks out the tree and finds the situation seriously lacking.
Christmas Bling
Sometimes, when you’re decking the halls, the Daddy gets decked instead.
Music Maker
Just call her Winnie Guthrie.
Where the Big Kids Are
Baby swings are just so… babyish. Win self-graduated to the real deal, and she does pretty well for herself, thanks very much.
Feel the Burn
With Auntie Boo spotting, Winnie can hang here for a really long time. A really, really long time.
The Keane Clan, Thanksgiving 09
And, here they are, captured in one frame (thanks to the magic of Justin’ automatic timer): Uncle Justin, Uncle Ben, Pops, Auntie Wendy, Nanny, Win, Daddy, Mommy, and Uncle Wil. Oh, and that’s Harley Dog down in front. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Merry-Go-Round
For Win, the ride was merry, indeed. For Chris, it might be more appropriately called Lunchie-Come-Up. But, hey. That’s what we do for love.
Peace Out, Thanksgiving!
Sweet potatoes make Winnie and Daddy feel the love.
